Assemble Yah Boom micro:bit Robot KIT Step 2: Installing The Ultrasonic Ranger

Assemble Kuman Smart Car Arduino Robot KIT SM11 Step 10: Charge and Install The Batteries

Few months ago, I received a Cool Arduino Robot Car SM11 KIT from the great folks at Kuman generously donated for the Visuino development :-).
Due to some health problems, and heavy work on the Visuino , the Mitov Software Libraries and couple of other robots, I was not able to post new videos for it, but finally I have found a gap and recorded some more.

I already posted:

Step 1: Installing the Motors and Attaching the Wheels
Step 2: Installing The Boards And Sensors
Step 3: Assemble the Ultrasonic Ranger mount, and install the Ultrasonic Ranger on it
Step 4: Installing the Servo, the Ultrasonic Ranger, and the Battery Box
Step 5: Connecting the Motor Driver Board and the Battery Box Cables
Step 6: Connecting the Sensors, Servo, Buzzer, Button, and Turn Signal LEDs to the Sensor Shield on top of the Arduino UNO
Step 7: Installing The LED Lights and Turn Signals
Step 8: Installing The Infrared Remote Receiver
Step 9: Installing The HC-06 Bluetooth Module

I am also looking into what is the best way to map the Robot functionality in Visuino .

Few weeks ago, the great folks from Elegoo sent me a  Cool new Penguin-Bot Arduino Robot KIT .
The Robot is not yet for sale, and I have received one of the very first robot kits.

Last week I received a cool BBC micro:bit Yah Boom Robot KIT from Makerfabs donated for the Visuino development :-).

I have already assembled the Robot and plan to start programming it with Visuino :-) . As part of the effort I already added initial BBC micro:bit support in Visuino, and it will be available in the next release :-)

Received 2 Arduino Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Modules from XiaoR Geek for the Visuino development!

Few days ago, the great folks at XiaoR Geek sent me 2 Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Modules for the Visuino development :-)

I will be traveling for the next couple of days, but when I am back, I will see to make some video tutorials for using the sensors with Arduino and Visuino :-)

Just received new cool Penguin-Bot Arduino Robot KIT from Elegoo for the Visuino development, and posted Unboxing video :-)

This week I received another Cool Penguin-Bot Arduino Robot KIT from Elegoo donated for the Visuino development :-).
This is a brand new Elegoo product, and I received one of their very first sets.

Improve Elegoo Arduino Smart Car Robot KIT 2.0: Swap the Motor Control Wires to use Infrared Remote

A while ago the great folks at Elegoo sent me a beautiful Robot Kit Version 1.0.
I already posted Assembly Instructions, and some tutorials on programming it.
Since then Elegoo introduced a newer and simpler to assemble 2.0 version, and the Elegoo folks sent me this really beautiful Smart Car Robot KIT Version 2.0 donated for the Visuino development.

Step 3: Installing the Motor Driver Board
Step 4: Installing the Line Following Sensors
Step 5: Installing the Arduino Board and the Sensors Shield
Step 6: Installing  the Infrared Remote Receiver Module

Step 7: Installing the Battery Box on the Chassis
Step 8: Installing the Servo turning the Ultrasonic Ranger
Step 9: Assemble the Ultrasonic Ranger
Step 10: Installing the Ultrasonic Ranger on the Servo
Step 11: Installing the Standoffs/Spacers on the Chassis
Step 12: Start Connecting The Cables between the sensors, and the boards
Step 13: Join the 2 layers of the Chassis together, and connect the rest of the cables
Step 14: Installing the Wheels
Step 15: Installing the Batteries
Step 16: Installing the HC-06 Bluetooth Module
Step 17: Tidy Up The Cables
Step 18: Center The Servo

I posted all the assembly instructions. The robot however has a small design problem that was fixed in Version 3 of the KIT. When using the Infrared Remote Receiver, the speed of one side of the motors can't be controlled.
There is however very easy fix for this that can be made in less than a minute, and here I am posting video on how to do it yourself - Swap the Motor Control Wires to use Infrared Remote :





I have also posted tutorials for assembling the even better Version 3 of the robot, and soon will be posting some more tutorials for all the versions, so stay tuned ;-)

Received 2 beautiful Maker UNO boards from Cytron Technologies for the Visuino development!

Today I received 2 beautiful Maker UNO boards from Cytron Technologies, generously donated for the Visuino development!
I am already working to add mapping for them in Visuino.
Please check and support their Kickstarter campaign!
The boards are really low cost, and loaded with cool features. They include user button, 12 user LEDs, and built in speaker!

The boards are of very high quality as you can see from the pictures:




I expect to have the Visuino support available for the modules later this week, so stay tuned :-)

My "Video Processing with Delphi Part 6 (Render video over different 2D and 3D surfaces, and elements)" article in the Blaise Pascal Magazine is published :-)

And my 6th Video Processing with Delphi is now published in the Blaise Pascal Magazine :-)
In the previous articles I introduced you to many of the cool features of VideoLab, playing filtering and morphing videos. I also showed you how you can create cool video effects and animate them with AnimationLab. I even showed you how you can render InstrumentLab gauges, and clocks inside the video.
Those are just few of the VideoLab capabilities. VideoLab not only can render visual instruments inside the video, but also can display video inside visual instruments, Scope or Waterfall components. It can even render videos in bitmap type elements, such as buttons in the Scope or Waterfall, or even on the surface of 3D shapes such as Round Cube.

In the article I used the latest VideoLaband InstrumentLab, features, added recently. They are not available in the official VideoLab, and InstrumentLab release yet, so if you want to follow the article, you should download and install the latest prerelease that I posted recently here:
