Visuino at Maker Faire LA 2026 (And a very special Visitor! ;-) )

Yesterday, I was presenting Visuino at the Maker Faire LA 2026. The event was organized together with the City of Stem,  and hosted at the Los Angeles Exposition Park :-)

My good booth neighbor was Michael Wernecke with his cool, fully functional Scratch-built 5-Foot Radio-Controlled Submarine!


It was a huge event with over 30000 visitors, and it was extremely exhausting. I barely found time to snap a few pictures between the visitors, and here are some of them:

The "Imagination Stage", where at 3:30PM I showed off what Visuino can do, and the audience had the chance to drive some of my robots :-)

My presentation was the usual mess, improvised as always, but this time I did it fully interactive, having the crowd play with my robots from the biggest Kuman WiFi all the way to my smallest BugC:


And sadly at the end of the day, it was time to pack and prepare to head back home:

Altogether, it was another fantastic event, and I really enjoyed it! 
Although it was my 3rd Maker Faire LA, it was a very busy and tiring event, and I was exhausted at the end, but no price was high enough for the chance to meet in person Xyla Foxlin herself :-)
Looking forward to attending more fun events in the future and presenting Visuino, my robots, and toys to the excited crowd!

Come and meet me at the Hub101 Nerdfest, to see Visuino in action and join the Visuino lab to build your own projects!

 This weekend (Jan. 30, 31, Feb. 1) I will be at the Hub101 Nerdfest:

For now, the plan is for me to be there on Jan. 30 between 4 and 6 PM and will have a table showing Visuino, and then Jan. 31 between 4 and 6 PM will have a room for Visuino Lab, where you can come and build your own projects with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, and other micricontrolles controllers, and even Raspbery Pi :-)

I most likely will be available outside this timeframe, so we can meet and have fun at the Nerdfest or talk Delphi or Visuino :-) .

Don't forget to bring your Arduinos, ESP32, ESP8266, or whatever controllers you have to the Visuino Lab! ;-)

Visuino at Maker Faire LA 2025

 Last Saturday, I was presenting Visuino at the Maker Faire LA 2025. The event was organized together with the City of Stem,  and hosted at the Los Angeles Exposition Park :-)

My good booth neighbors were the fantastic folks from Conejo Valley Makerspace!

It was a huge event, with tens of thousands of visitors, and it was extremely exhausting. I barely found time to snap a few pictures and a short video between the visitors, and here are some of them:

Just released the 10th anniversary edition of Visuino and Visuino Pro - Graphical Development for Arduino - 8_0_0_138 with Texas Instruments MSP432, RP2350, ATtiny controllers, RFID support and much more...

10 years ago to the day, I created the first Visuino prototype version. In the following few days, all the initial features were added, and I showed it for the first time during the 2015 Delphi week.

To celebrate the occasion, I have made a new release today :-)

It has been a long journey since then, the initial version was able to program only Arduino boards, and required the Arduino IDE to be able to compile the generated code.

Today, Visuino supports practically all controllers, and even Raspberry Pi, and is able to compile and upload directly from the IDE.

The new release is a huge update, including support for Texas Instruments MSP432, RP2350, many ATtiny series controllers, RFID, and much more.

This version also comes with significant speed improvements, especially when adding/deleting/ connecting and disconnecting components.

There is a lot more, but I will leave it for you to discover all the goodies :-)

Assemble Penguin-Bot Arduino Robot KIT Ver1 - Step 10: Install the Battery Box

     Couple of years ago I received another Cool Penguin-Bot Arduino Robot KIT from Elegoo donated for the Visuino development :-). Unfortunately due to health issues, and work on Visuino, I was not able to finish posting all the assembly videos at the time :-(.

Finally now I have a chance to post all the remaining videos.


This is the Final Production Version of the Robot. I already posted videos for the Preproduction version, and now here is the first assembly video of the production version.

    Couple of years ago I received another Cool Penguin-Bot Arduino Robot KIT from Elegoo donated for the Visuino development :-). Unfortunately due to health issues, and work on Visuino, I was not able to finish posting all the assembly videos at the time :-(.

Visuino at Maker Faire LA 2024


Last Saturday I was presenting Visuino at the Maker Faire LA. The event was organized together with City of Stem and hosted at the Los Angeles State Historic Park :-)
Daniel Sidman also came and joined me at the booth helping me as volunteer, and I am very grateful for his help!
It was huge event, with tens of thousands of visitor, and it was extremely exhausting. I barely found time to snap few pictures between the visitors, and here are some of them:

Altogether, it was a fantastic event, and I really enjoyed it! 
It was the first time I was presenting at a Maker Faire or any event of such huge size, and I made a lot of mistakes in preparing for it, but at the end it went better than I anticipated!
Looking forward to attending more fun events in the near future, and presenting Visuino to the excited crowd!

Assemble SNARM500/SNAM1900 4DOF Arduino Robot Manipulator Arm - Step 3 - Prepare and Install the Rotating Base

 I have finished the third assembly video on the Arduino Robot Manipulator Arm .

And here is the third Assembly Video - Prepare and Install the Rotating Base assemble the central joint and install the rotating base on the baseplate servo.


Here is how to make Visuino project to center the sero. Just add and connect servo component. It will automatically set the servo to centered position:

Assemble SNARM500/SNAM1900 4DOF Arduino Robot Manipulator Arm - Step 1 - Assemble the Base

Recently I bought an Arduino Robot Manipulator Arm to use for the Visuino development. Last week it arrived, and I assembled it.



The Robot Manipulator was a good price, and came with quite nice MG90S Metal Gear Servos, and it included original Arduino UNO, and quite handy Potentiometers Shield, however it also came without any assembly instruction :-( .

Once assembled however the Manipulator turned out to be way better than what I anticipated based on its price. I also added support for the included Shield in Visuino and even used the shield for few small experimental Visuino projects :-)

I already posted Unboxing Video for the Manipulator, and promised Assembly videos.

Assemble Pre-Production Elegoo Balancing Arduino Robot KIT Step 2: Assemble the Sensor and Motor Driver Breakout Board

After months of hard work on the new Visuino design, I finally have found time to post the second assembly video of the cool Pre-Production Balancing Arduino Robot KIT that the great people from Elegoo sent me last year.
